The Watcher

When nineteen-year-old Ellie becomes fixated on the unsolved murder of her neighbour Daniel Harper, found stabbed in his own kitchen with no signs of forced entry, she turns her bedroom window into a surveillance post, documenting lights that shouldn't be on, bins that move themselves, and a silhouette that appears in Harper's upstairs window with a regularity that feels less like coincidence and more like an answer to something she hasn't yet thought to ask.
