About This Story
Inside a crumbling orphanage in 1930s Germany, a young girl watches the world grow colder by the day. The adults whisper behind closed doors, children divide themselves by bloodlines, and rumours of soldiers taking “undesirable” children spread like wildfire through the halls. Haunted by fragmented memories of her family’s violent disappearance, she struggles to separate nightmares from reality as fear slowly consumes the orphanage she once called home.
While the adults cling to denial, the children begin realizing the truth long before anyone says it aloud: they are no longer safe. As tensions rise and the shadow of Nazi persecution creeps closer, the orphanage transforms from a refuge into a trap, forcing the girl and the few friends she trusts to confront a terrifying question — how do you survive when the entire world has already decided you shouldn’t exist?
